Hi - I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Maria Morgan, a daughter of the King and an award-winning author and speaker.

My mission has always been to share God’s truth regardless of the age of my audience. After a 2.5-year bout with anxiety, depression, and psychosis, the Lord brought miraculous healing.

Since then, He has given me a passion to help other Christian women with similar struggles, overcome negative thoughts and suicidal thinking, so they can experience freedom, joy, and purpose in who God created them to be.

I’m excited to be on this journey with YOU!

More About Maria

Every day I see evidence of God’s trustworthy nature. I read about His unconditional love and the good plans He has for me, but when ‘bad’ things happen, I often grapple with doubt and find myself struggling for control. You too?

But the so-called ‘bad’ things can turn out to be ‘good’ things. The Lord gently probes our hearts and minds to help us recognize and identify lies we’ve believed that have the power to derail us.

Two times within an 18-year span, I experienced the suffocating grip of anxiety/depression. Both times, I’ve discovered lies that needed to be uprooted and replaced with truth.

Because of what I’ve experienced, I’m doing what I do today – writing and speaking.

The Lord has taught me (and is continuing to teach me) so much through trials and suffering – they are opportunities to get to know Him more and draw closer to Him. But the lessons are NOT just for me.

Once I got to a place of healing, God invited me to help others, too. And that’s my desire: to come alongside you with the comfort God has given me – so you can experience His incredible comfort as well (2 Corinthians 1:4).

On A Personal Note

I’m the wife of a wonderful man, Steve, mom to our adult daughter, Riley and her husband, Josh. I love the Lord and desire to honor Him in everything I do. My husband and I live in the balmy South with our Whoodle (Wheaton Terrier/Poodle) and two Maine coon kitties – the perfect mix to fuel my creativity for years to come.

Fun Facts About Me

When I’m not writing or speaking, I enjoy: spending time with family & friends, reading, baking, traveling, and shoe shopping.

What I Believe

The Bible

I believe “all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

(2 Timothy 3:16)

I believe the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is without error.

I believe “the word of the Lord endureth for ever.”

(1 Peter 1:25a)

God

I believe “the Lord our God is one Lord.”

(Deuteronomy 6:4)

I believe He is one God in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as made apparent in:

(Matthew 3:16-17)

JESUS

I believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.”

(John 14:6)

I believe He was virgin born: “Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

(Isaiah 7:14b)

I believe Jesus was God incarnate: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.”

(John 1:14)

I believe He lived a perfect, sinless life: “For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

(2 Corinthians 5:21; words in parentheses mine)

I believe that Jesus willingly offered Himself for all mankind as a substitutionary sacrifice for man’s sin: “But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

(Philippians 2:7-8)

I believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus: “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

I believe Jesus ascended into Heaven after His resurrection, and is seated at His Father’s right hand: “It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”

(Romans 8:34b)

I believe Jesus is coming again: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

(John 14:3)

The Holy Spirit

I believe the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in the believer at the moment of salvation: “but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

(John 14:17b)

I believe in the eternal security of the believer. The Holy Spirit seals the believer at salvation: “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

(Ephesians 1:12-13)

I believe the Holy Spirit’s ministry includes convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment: “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

(John 16:8)

I believe the Holy Spirit’s ministry also includes regeneration and sanctification: “. . . he will guide you into all truth.” “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

(John 16:13 & 14:26)

Sin & Salvation

I believe the disobedience of Adam and Eve caused the entire human race to become sinful: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

(Romans 5:12)

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”

(Romans 3:10)

I believe “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

(1 John 1:8)

I believe sin must be paid for: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

(Romans 6:23)

I believe salvation is in Christ alone: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

I believe Jesus Christ died to pay our sin debt: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

(Romans 5:8)

I believe salvation is received by faith in Christ: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

(Ephesians 2:8-9)

I believe salvation is available to everyone: “. . . whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

(Romans 10:13)

I believe all who reject Jesus Christ as Savior will spend eternity in Hell: “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

(Revelation 20:15)

Our Purpose

I believe we were created for a relationship with God: “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

(1 Timothy 2:4)

I believe our lives should bring honor and glory to God: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

(Revelation 4:11)

I believe we are to share the gospel with others: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

(Mark 16:15)

I believe we have the privilege to help others grow in their faith: “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

(2 Timothy 2:2)

Are you looking for peace with God?

How would you answer the following question: If you were to die today are you 100% sure you would go to heaven?

If you have doubts about your eternal destination, the Bible can address those uncertainties. You CAN know where you will spend eternity. God’s Word is clear:

"These things have I written unto you... that ye may know that ye have eternal life..."

-1 John 5:13

Why won't everyone go to heaven?

The first few chapters of Genesis detail the account of Adam’s disobedience to God. Simply put, sin is all the wrong we do – and sin separates us from God. Because Adam sinned, he passed on a sinful nature to all who were born after him.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

-Romans 5:12

The truth is we are all sinners. Since God is holy, sin cannot abide in His presence.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;”

-Romans 3:23

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

-1 John 1:8
